  • Dynamic Thread Creation: Automatically sets the thread title to the movie's name and populates the first post with the movie poster and details from TMDb.
  • User Ratings: Let your community rate movies with a 5-star system directly in threads.
  • Personal Lists:Enable users to:
    • Add movies to Favorites
    • Mark movies as Watched
    • Add movies to their Watchlist
  • Duplicate Detection: Prevents duplicate threads by converting new ones into posts within existing threads for the same movie.
  • Customizable Information: Select what details (e.g., cast, synopsis, ratings) appear in the first post and forum thread list.
  • Genre-Specific Forums: Assign forums for specific genres and allow users to search by these attributes.
  • Trophy Integration: Reward users with trophy points for starting movie threads.

  • General code refactor
  • Minimal XF version changed to 2.2
  • [BREAKING] Add-on was integrated with ForumType and ThreadType system (XF2.2+):
  • "Movie thread forums" add-on option was removed (all previously selected forums in this option will be automatically converted to "TMDb Movie forum" type)
  • "Allow mixed content" option was deleted (now can be used "General discussion" forum type with "TMDb Movie threads" type)
  • "Enable manual updates" options was deleted, now users with access to change thread type
  • Improved performance for crosslink creation (now applies asynchronously with XF:Job)
  • Cached user Movie thread count to optimize user criteria
  • Refactoring and optimization of the addon to reduce the number of requests to API
